Road to Big White, 12x12" (2023)

One of our favourite places in the world is Big White, BC. This amazing ski destination is just 45 minutes by car from downtown Kelowna. The first half of the trip takes you along a highway out of the city; the second half is on a dedicated road, winding through trees and past rushing streams, and it's pretty much all uphill! In one of the last turns before you arrive, there's an opening in the trees, and the view is just spectacular. That's the moment represented in this small painting.
