There's something about a full moon... This piece was painted during the March full moon, also known as the Worm Moon. The name of this moon is not terribly appealing, but the meaning - that worms appear as the soil warms in spring, inviting the robins and other birds to feed - is more so! In this piece, I added some silver and gold metallic paint as moonglow.
Mixed media: acrylic and latex paints, sea salt. Painted on 5/8" canvas.
