When the snow starts to blow, colours dim. We know that the pine trees are still green under the snow, but the landscape looks like a b&w photo. This monochrome effect inspired me to paint a landscape in shades of taupe. The calm palette is balanced by the movement of the swirling snow.
Mixed media: acrylic and latex paints, liquid asphalt(rubberized). Painted on 5/8" deep canvas.
