In 2024 I was inspired to start a series of Canada-themed Square Foot paintings. My goal is to paint at least one iconic scene for each of the provinces (and territories, if possible).
Newfoundland and Labrador is filled with memorable features and vistas, many of them unique to that province. One summer, I was lucky enough to see an iceberg resting majestically in a bay. No entrance fee, no crowds, just this miracle of nature. How could I not paint it?
