This small painting was inspired by a big view, the view of the sun rising over the Monashees mountain range from Big White Ski Resort, Kelowna BC. The title refers to the fact that I painted this piece on the morning I shot the photo - but really, almost every morning here provides a spectacular sunrise. And sunset. Every day is different, but equally beautiful.
