Centennial Lake is part of the Madawaska River system, which travels from Algonquin Park all the way to Arnprior, ON. It's quintessential cottage country, all rocks, trees, and water. Early morning coffee overlooking the lake is as peaceful a moment as anyone is likely to experience. This painting was requested by our son, to remind him of summer visits to the lake.
