ONLINE AUCTION ONLY - Hope 12x16"

This painting is named Hope because we all need hope in an uncertain time. The blue sky and yellow field depict a scene that can viewed at many places across Canada, including the beautiful province of Saskatchewan where canola and wheat fields stretch beyond the horizon. Not coincidentally, the colours also represent the Ukrainian flag, and the breadbasket fields in that country.

We are all interconnected. As such, I hope that this painting can remind us to support each other, individually and on national and global levels. We are stronger together.

Mixed media: latex and acrylic paints, liquid asphalt (rubberized). Painted on gallery depth cradled birch plywood.

Please note that Hope is available via online auction ONLY until 11 March 2025 only, at which time the highest bidder will become the new owner. Current retail is $350.00+tax; however, there is no minimum bid. Every cent raised will be donated to the Canada-Ukraine Foundation. I am not holding back the cost of materials or anything else. This is simply my small gesture in the face of the challenges which both of our nations are facing.

I will deliver (or ship) to the winning bidder after the auction closes at 8pm eastern, Tuesday 11 March 2025.
