COMMISSION - Night Skiing, View from Mount Washington, 2022 (15x30")

This painting was commissioned as a surprise wedding gift. The groom himself had posted the spectacular photo which provided the inspiration; his sneaky friends took a screenshot of the image from Facebook and passed it on to me. Since the bride and groom love the outdoor BC lifestyle, the thought was that the happy couple would enjoy a work of art based on their own adventures - I sure hope they do.

Mixed media: acrylic and latex paints, gesso, liquid asphalt (rubberized). Painted on gallery depth canvas.
